We are fortunate and grateful to have a team of loving, dedicated and experienced teachers teaching 4 classes:

3-5 years (Bubbles);

5-8s (Splash);

8-10s (X-Stream);

11-14s (The Grid);

David and Taara Portela: Church School Co-ordinators

Teachers alternate each month so that they can still attend church service.

Church school starts with an Open Time which includes singing, prayer, birthday spot (kids choose a gift from the birthday box), and sometimes a game or other activity. We then split into the different age-groups (see above).

Points are given for bringing a Bible (or a friend!), and we give prizes to the top scorer in each class. Last year’s gift (June 04) was a voucher for Movenpick ice-cream!

Attendance of Church school is free and we would welcome new children to join us and share our love for Christ as well as many exciting Bible stories.

Offerings that were received at the DICC Church School this past term were all be given to the Mother Teresa Home in Dhaka.  Children are encouraged to learn the joy of being generous to others!
